Are we brave enough to laugh?

Today another hotel in town was handed over to it's new owners.  As you can imagine in a small town there is much talk about the kind of people they are and their thoughts on what they plan to do to get business...

Well, did they get off to a bad start.

Tonight our friendly police called into the hotel to see Mark and myself to ask if we knew the new owners names.  "Why?" we asked.  Apparently the local police had a call from the inside the hotel that a young man using the internet cafe had turned around and found himself LOCKED IN and everyone had GONE HOME.

Mark and I are laughing but not cocky...

Publicans AND TV Personalities!!

Did anyone catch The Sunrise Program on Channel 7 Tuesday morning?

If you did you would have seen the Winnebago at the Taylor's Arms Hotel in NSW.  They are always attempting to nick our Pub with No Beer Title.

Mark sent an email into Mel and Koshie and they then questioned the Taylor's Arms Crew on their version of events.  It was very awkward from that point on....Mark had certainly set the cat amongst the pigeons!!

Then they proceeded to tell "Mr Doyle" that the Sunrise Winnebago would come to see us in Ingham!!

The whole town is chatting about it and there is a lot of excitement.

The Wedding.

Two of our gorgeous staff were married last night at Lee's Hotel Wedding Reception Venue...

Tony is our Chef and Richelle works in the Bar, Admin and Kitchen.  They are both fantastic people and we are very happy for them.

Between them they have 6 kiddies!  That's right.....6!!  They had a little baby girl only 7 weeks ago.
