Last night we opened the new bar. Raw Sugar officially opened and everything went perfectly!
We were really busy! Not just in Raw Sugar but in the main bar and restaurant. Nearly every other Pub was closed hours before us. Most of the staff from the other pubs were in drinking at ours!

FRIDAY Raw Sugar Opens!
Steven was down again this weekend and brought with him all the fixtures and fittings...and then FITTED THEM ALL!
He has done the most amazing job and I think you will agree it's looking rather spectacular. His attention to detail is incredible. It's really exciting to see our plan spring into shape and we are all really proud of it.
Friday should be a big night.
I'll update again once she is stocked and ready to go!
The magical Steve has almost finished Raw Sugar!
This weekend all furnishings, fixtures and fittings go in and then the electrical and plumbing is done next week! We can't wait!!!
Here are the recent pics with Mark and Tim hard at work painting! The outside has the undercoat and the inside the first coat of colour.
Tim has also downloaded all of our music for the bar so is our DJ of sorts!
This morning we are cut off again. North and South.

Well, well, well....did someone order a downpour? A potential cyclone perhaps?
We have had a fairly intense week. A lot of stranded tourists have joined us on our little inland Island.
No vehicles could access or leave Ingham in any direction. We were completely stranded. Things are only now getting back to normal and it looks as though another deluge is on it's way!
